In collaboration with OLA, IQMH* developed an online educational series, Decoding ISO 15189™, that will provide you and your staff with the foundation of knowledge you need to support and contribute to the continuing development and sustainability of your quality management system. For a limited time, with the support of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, the whole series is being made available to licensed labs of Ontario, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland & Labrador at no cost. This series is also available in French. To access, register at www.iqmh.org.
Decoding ISO 15189™ is only available online through the IQMH website; you will need to sign-up as a member of IQMH to get access to the course. Click on the Sign in link which will take you to the sign in page. If you are not already a member, click on the Register link to set up your user name and password (it is not necessary to complete the mailing/shipping fields). Once you login you will be automatically directed to the Decoding ISO 15189 page.
Please note:
- All user names must be unique
- If the user name you select is already in use you will get a warning message
- Passwords must be at least 7 characters in length
- “Display Name” is the name that will appear on your screen when you sign in to IQMH
- Click “Register” to complete the sign-up process
- You will receive a welcome email with your user name and password for future reference
To access the course after you have logged out, please login using the user name and password you created. You will now have a new tab called “Member” click on this tab to access the Decoding ISO 15189™ series modules or save and use this link. The course is available to all of your laboratory staff, so feel free to forward this information to your staff.
