Over the years, OLA has received many requests for an editable version of our requirements. After discussion with the OLA Advisory Panel, OLA staff has prepared two versions of the OLA Checklist 5.0 that laboratories can use to save information for their own record keeping.

The aim External Quality Assessment is to provide each participant with an assessment of performance in comparison with peers. During the past three years, QMP–LS has implemented the use of performance scores for the majority of EQA surveys but until now, performance scores have not been introduced for surveys such as Cytology, Hematology Bone Marrow and the diagnostic component of Morphology.

Feedback received from participants over the past few years has identified room for improvement in the QView™ General EQA file structure. On Sept. 23 this was revised to improve the accessibility of files and overall user-friendliness of the file structure.
