EQA-Pathology is seeking pathologists and medical laboratory technologists skilled in the assessment of histological and immunohistochemical stains to serve as assessors for the external quality assessment program. As an assessor you will perform peer evaluations of stains submitted by pathology laboratories in Ontario as part of a team using preset assessment criteria. Participation in this program will provide you with valuable skills that can be used in conducting your own laboratory’s stain quality assessments. You may define the amount of time you wish to devote to this activity. Assessors are remunerated for their time and expenses while participating in an assessment. Training will be provided which is eligible for continuing education credits.
